Samson’s superhuman strength was a gift from God. However, such a gift came at a price as God demanded Samson never consume alcohol, cut his hair, or be in the presence of a dead body. Sadly, Samson disobeyed God’s rules which resulted in his capture by the Philistines. However, blinded and humiliated, he prayed to God for forgiveness, thus crushing the pillars and the temple with his regained strength.
