Custom Artwork
You will receive a proof of your artwork before we send it to production. This proof will give you a good sense of what the ornament will look like and give you the opportunity to see the details and proof any text.
The proof will show the front and back of your ornament.
The 'Front' artwork represents your ornament with all of the half etched detailing. This differs from the 'Back' artwork which represents only the metal vs non-metal space as seen from the front of the ornament.
- White areas in the ornament represents the raised areas that would feel "bumpy" when you run your fingers over them.
- Black areas represent recessed or half etched parts of the ornament.
- The 3 small black tags along the outside of the artwork are used to hold the ornament in place during production and will not appear on your final ornament.
The back or the ornament shows something different. Here the black represents areas that will be pierced through or full etched areas. These are the areas with no metal on your ornament. This artwork is not flipped as one would expect due to production needs. The important factor in this artwork is the metal vs. non metal space as seen from the front of the ornament.
