Grand Central Station

Grand Central is the sixth most visited tourist attraction in the world with more than 20 million visitors annually, making it a fantastic place to people watch. This station features an expansive two-story underground train yard, restaurants, and specialty shops. The beaux-arts styled Grand Central Terminal was constructed over a ten-year period and was opened to the public in 1913, but only after 180 buildings were demolished between 42nd and 50th street to make way for it. The most recognizable feature on the outside of the station is the 48-ft. high sculpture featuring Mercury, the god of commerce, along with Minerva and Hercules, representing mental and moral strength, surrounding a magnificent clock.

This ornament is the perfect way to remember your visit to Grand Central Station and even makes a great gift for travelers and train buffs.
