Considered to be in the heart of the Midwest’s largest city, Millennium Park is a 24.5 acre area featuring public art and an endless list of cultural events. The centerpiece of this inner city park is a sculpture by Anish Kapoor known as Cloud Gate, affectionately referred to by many locals as “The Bean.”

Since it officially opened on July 16, 2004, Millennium Park has proved to be a great investment. It is believed that only the Navy Pier enjoys more tourist traffic. Cloud Gate is one of the most popular “must see” structures in a city full of significant public art. Having an arch 12-ft high, visitors can walk under and around the structure and enjoy the reflections that are created by its stainless steel surface. “Cloud Gate” was dedicated on May 15, 2006.
