Our Neighbors to the North

The Canadian National Motto, “From Sea to Sea”, rings true as Canada proudly expands out to the Arctic, Atlantic and even the Pacific Ocean. Not to mention, the Great North remains the second largest country in the world, with the maple leaf (the iconic symbol of Canadian culture) gracing the national flag-representing the ten species of maple trees native to the Canada.

Canada’s History

Red and white became Canada’s official colors in 1921, merging the distinctive heritages of France (white) and England (red) who originally settled and explored this vast land. Chateau Frontenac (located in Quebec City), which opened in 1893, was the first of a series of chateau-style hotels built by the Canadian Pacific Railway to promote tourism and travel, and today remains a Historic Landmark. The unique history, spirit of its people, and beauty of the land capture the hearts of all who visit and live in the “True North Strong and Free!”
