A biblical reference to Ephesians, the Armor of God symbolizes both physical and metaphorical challenges. When in the face of evils, those who prayed to God, and therefore had his protection (or armor) would be able to overcome. Similarly, the physical theory states that those who faced trials and tribulations were given an actual suit of armor (from God) that would protect them from any harm.
